This one hour class will help orient and ground your mind and body through breath awareness and mindful meditations on scripture. You will be invited into slow, gentle stretching and movement that offers mobility and balance. It is for all levels of ability.
You may bring your own mat or use one of ours.

My name is Tina Farist, I am thankful that yoga found me in 2007. I started practicing yoga as just an exercise, but quickly discovered the vast healing benefits of yoga. I learned that through the intentional mind/body connection, my body created space for my mind and spirit to grieve and heal. Finding a new sense of balance, peace, self- acceptance and love, Jesus began meeting me unexpectedly on my mat. This “accidental discovery” led me to pursuing books and training into the trauma informed world. My curiosity and healing journey led me to get certified in trauma informed yoga through Holy Yoga. The following year I continued my trauma informed training through the Allender Center’s two year program Narrative Focused Trauma Care. I have the honor of bringing movement to the beautiful ladies at RAHAB (a ministry that brings hope and healing to survivors of human trafficking). Inviting Jesus to encounter us through the healing power of breath and movement, I have the privilege of learning and growing along side these women.
I graduated from Moody Bible Institute (1994). I received my RYT 200 hr certification from Yoga Bliss (2016). I was certified in trauma-informed yoga through Holy Yoga (2018). I received my Narrative Focused Trauma Care 1 and 2 in 2019-2021. I have received training for integrative prayer work through Free to Be Ministries.
