I am passionate about helping others dismantle the strongholds that keep them from finding their true identity in Christ. I believe that true healing comes from being in a relationship where you are fully seen, heard, and known. It is my purpose to create this kind of relationship for my clients—a place where they can unburden their hearts, find validation in their suffering, and discover the freedom and healing Christ has for them.

Experience

My career as a leader and educator began more than 20 years ago as an Intervention Specialist for students in grades 3-5. My experience showed me that I found more purpose in counseling students through their difficulties than in teaching academics. This led me to pursue a Master's degree in Counseling Education at Cleveland State University. After teaching for several years, I paused my graduate studies to become a stay-at-home mother. During this time, I became heavily involved in my local church's women's ministry, overseeing and developing groups for women of all ages, especially young mothers. I also served in the children’s ministry, where I taught, discipled, and guided young hearts. In 2020, I completed the Free to Be training, and I began working with women and children to find holistic healing through integrative prayer and counsel. Feeling a renewed call to graduate school, I recently earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. My passion is to apply Scripture as the ultimate standard for truth while integrating psychological concepts that align with biblical teachings, such as aspects of CBT, EFT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, Play Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

Personal Note

My family includes my husband of 18 years, our three children, and our three cats. In my free time, I love to get lost in books about Jesus, travel to beautiful beaches, listen to podcasts while I clean, and find a cozy coffee shop to relax in with friends.
